Cleanup method
AI Clean is recommended for phone photos, paper texture, shadows and uneven lighting.
Run AI cleanup after you finish cropping.
Removes faint semi-transparent paper texture and halos after AI removal. Increase it until the transparent area is completely clean; lower it if very fine pen strokes become too thin.
Targets pale gray or white paper remnants that can still appear in Word or PDF documents. Increase it if small cloudy patches remain; lower it if very light ink details start fading.
If you still see pale patches, increase Paper residue cleanup.
Ink color
Keep the photographed ink color or convert the result to a clean black or blue signature.
Trim & spacing
Remove empty transparent space while keeping a small safe margin around the signature.
Adds transparent space around the detected signature after auto trim.
Clean transparency for Word and PDFs
AI Clean removes the paper first, then Edge cleanup forces faint background remnants to fully transparent pixels so the signature does not carry a gray paper veil into documents.

The AI model runs locally
The source image, crop and generated PNG stay in your browser. The local U2NetP model is loaded from Image Toolroom, but your signature image is not sent to a server for processing.
